Rogers’ store network was a mix of several generations of design. The company issued an RFP to 16 international firms to develop and implement a national, uniform retail design that would bring the customer experience to life in a tangible fashion. Envision won.

This information gave birth to the strategy for Rogers’ new NexGen retail design.
The interior of Rogers stores were made to be flexible, scalable and dynamic, while leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience. Store exteriors employed unique ‘marchitecture’ to present the master brand to consumers while allowing for future evolution.
The first NexGen prototypes rolled out in December 2007 in flagship Rogers locations across Toronto and Montreal.
